I was very humbled to receive the following e mail from the liaison office of Canine Hoopers UK. I cannot thank my clients enough who have taken the time to write to CHUK and share their training journeys. I really have the best clients. and it is a joy teaching you all. Thank you !
Dear Astrid,is my absolute pleasure to tell you that you were nominated as a superstar trainer by your clients. These emails were written from the heart and a joy to read – well done. Below are some of these comments which I hope brighten up your day. On a personal note, some of the stories shared brought a tear to my eye, you deserve to be proud of making such a positive difference to so many people and their dogs.

Below are some of the fantastic comments we received;
I sincerely believe that I would not have the bond with my dog that I have without Astrid. She was infinitely patient, not just with me but with the whole class. She explained not only how to do the exercises but the reasons behind them. She encouraged us to send her videos of us practicing (and in my case gave constructive criticism). She never ignored pleas for help or left questions unanswered. There were never any 'office hours', if I messaged, she replied. I attribute a lot of the progress we have made in building a relationship to all the extra miles that Astrid went to ensure that both Dave and I got the most out of our Hooper's courses. I think she deserves a medal!
She makes lessons fun and her knowledge of Hoopers has given us a wonderful solid foundation.
She has taught me how to run my dogs from a distance. I cannot move very quickly, and cannot run at all. Astrid has shown me techniques and training tips to overcome this. She is quick to pick up on any weaknesses (both mine and my dogs!) and to correct them. She has given me all sorts of training tips that I was previously unaware of. Astrid is very knowledgeable and puts her training over in a very straight forward and practical way. She makes me laugh when she picks out my silly mistakes and is a pleasure to learn from. If I was to grade her, I would give her 11 out of 10
We look forward to every week especially Luthor who knows when we drive there what he will be doing. She has been a brilliant mentor and so supportive.
